...... Only one week to go to annual auction 8:00pm of Friday 29th January 2010 .......

We would welcome your donations of ‘quality’ items to the club for the Auction – please can you try and deliver any items to the club (middle room downstairs) by the evening of Wednesday 27th so that we can get prepared in good time.

Following are some of the superb donations we have already received .... 

Lot 1 An Aurigny Travel Voucher to the value of £175 (reserve £100)
Lot 2 A Parachute Jump with Jersey Skydive – this package was costing £300 last year!
(Possible dates in Guernsey 6,7, or 8th September and possibly also during a week in August. This will also be honoured if you travel to their Jersey base)
Lot 3 A day trip to Cherbourg for two people by Cirrus aircraft including transportation from Cherbourg Airport to either Cherbourg City or the fishing Port of St Vast le Hougue with time for shopping and lunch
Lot 4 A day trip to either Cherbourg or St Brieuc for two people by Cherokee PA28 to visit the local delights
Lot 5 2 Tickets for Fairford on either 18th or 19th July 2010 (face value £38 each)
Lot 6 A day trip to St Brieuc for two people in Robin G-BZIJ with transport in a classic Mercedes ....
..... and ‘lots’ lots more ...

In case you cannot be here in person we are happy to accept ‘sealed bids’. These need to be given to Jean (or put on the board marked for her attention – ‘Auction Sealed Bid’ by Thursday evening . Please can you put your bid amount, lot number and lot description in a sealed envelope and we will open it on the night. If you wish to make a telephone bid please can you make arrangements with a friend who will be there on the night and able to talk to you.

This is a big fund raiser and we look forward to your participation and support.

Chips will be available on the night to keep your energy levels up.
